With our variable rate SmartFlex plan, you get the flexibility you need, while also being more eco-friendly. Your variable rate may adjust monthly based on market conditions, and if you are not completely satisfied, you’re free to switch. Plus, with this product, you can choose to be completely paperless! All customers receive their monthly bill electronically by default – which means less clutter and a better environment.

For residential customers under TEPCO 'Plan B', 10A - 60A

• This price plan is comprised of Monthly Base Charge, kWh Charges (3 tiers listed below) and the Energy Cost Adjustment:
  • Tier 1: 0 - 120 kWh
  • Tier 2: 121 - 300 kWh
  • Tier 3: 301 kWh or more
• Rate varies monthly based on market conditions

Your monthly effective rate will correspond to the service period of your bill.

Introductory Price Plan: Savings on your first six bills’ electricity charges for new customers! ¹

¹Only residential customers switching to T'dash from TEPCO Plan B qualify for this savings. No other customers qualify.
This Introductory Price Plan is only available to new customers who have not been a T'dash customer in the past 6 months.
Savings are calculated comparing T'dash charges to TEPCO Plan B charges during the same service period.
T'dash reserves the right to terminate this plan at any time at its own discretion.
Upon completion of the 6 months introductory price plan period, customers will be moved to T'dash’s prevailing rate.
Please note this introductory price plan applicability is contingent upon paying all invoices by their due date. In the event that payment is not received by an invoice’s due date, customers will be moved to T'dash’s prevailing rate effective as of the day following the past-due invoice’s meter read date. (Example: If the January meter read date invoice is not paid before the due date, all charges from the January meter read date going forward will be charged at T'dash’s prevailing rate.)

By default, this product is completely paperless. All correspondence and billing will be sent electronically. Customers may choose a paper billing option for their individual account (110 yen / month). Payment will be accepted by ACH, credit card, debit card, and Konbini online type or Konbini payment slip* (issuance fee of 220 yen (tax included) per month).

*Before you can use Konbini store payment slip as a payment method, we require you to register your credit card information. In the event that payment cannot be confirmed by the due date, we may charge the unpaid balance to the registered credit card.

Your total charges will include Monthly Base Charge, kWh Charges, Energy Cost Adjustment, Renewable Energy Charge and other pertinent charges. Please note that total charges include sales tax.

Energy Cost Adjustment (ECA)
The Energy Cost Adjustment (ECA) is generally the same rate as or similar rate to, subject to market conditions, the EPCO Fuel Cost Adjustment (FCA). The FCA calculation can be found by following this link.

Renewable Energy Charge (REC)
The Renewable Energy Charge is the same rate as what would be charged by your default EPCO. The REC calculation can be found by following this link.
